AFC/M23 statements Regarding Peace in the RDC as Trust-building measures for Peace

The Alliance Fleuve Congo(AFC/M23) wishes to refer to the Doha peace process under which significant progress was recently achieved, including the signing of the Doha Framework agreement of November 15th 2025.

In light of these achievements, and despite the continued provocations and abuse from the FARDC and it's allies, the Alliance Fleuve congo(AFC/M23) initiate an unilateral trust-building measure in order to give the Doha peace process the Maximum chance to succeed in providing lasting solutions to the conflict.

AFC/M23 will unilaterally withdraw it's forces from the city of Uvira as per United states mediation's request.

Based on past experiment where FAEDC, Wazalendo and their allies have sought to take advantages of AFC/M23's trust-building measure to retake  control of previously lost territory and target the population perceived as sympathetic to the alliance.

AFC/M23 calls on the guarantors of the peace process to establish adequate measure for the management of the city.

Including its demilitarization,the protection of its population and infrastructure, and the monitoring  of the ceasefire through the deployment of neutral force.

Finally concerning armed groups hostele to the Government of Burundi that Remaining active in the Democratic Republic of the congo.

The AFC/M23 reiterates that it will not allow such groups to use liberated areas as rear base for any hostile acts likely to undermine good-neighborly relations between our two countries
